 Shapiro
entered UCLA at age 16 and began writing opinion columns in the
Viewpoint
section of the Daily Bruin. By
his sophomore
year, he was the youngest syndicated columnist in the country. His political experiences at UCLA formed the
basis for his 2004 book Brainwashed:
How Universities Indoctrinate America’s
Youth,
which
he followed in 2005 with Porn
Generation: How Social Liberalism Is Corrupting
Our Future, a look
into youth culture and the sexualization of America.
He is currently pursuing a Harvard law
